Role of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)

TII are responsible for all aspects of operation and safety in Irish Tunnels and are therefore the key stakeholder consulted by DCC.

In all cases no matter how small the requirements outlined Guidance Note, ‘The Assessment of Surface and Sub-surface Developments in the Vicinity of the Dublin Port Tunnel’ is applied by DCC through TII.

Within it are referenced a set of files with information for use by engineers (if required) in preparing any special assessments or submissions. These files can be downloaded from the link ‘1.1 DPT Information’.
